Just like the Women’s March on Washington, this is how the Selma March went from just a few to national.

Perspective of history is always important.

The “spark” of the now-historic Women’s March on Washington (which happened today) started from a 60-yr old grandmother from Hawaii, posting on Facebook the morning after Donald Trump‘s election win.  There is precedent to this, however, as the 1965 Selma march was also a march that went from “just a few” to capturing a nation.

This is how it happened. Enjoy the video.
