If All Lives Mattered

If All Lives Matter, would we see the same result?
Funny how you view life a lot differently as an adult.
When you’re a kid you’re not bothered with who’s rich or poor or who’s black or white.
It doesn’t concern you with who’s gay or straight or what society perceives as wrong or right.
You don’t think about if you will live tomorrow or die tonight.
Because life is like clear skies and rainbows, & everything is alright.
But when adolescents kicks in and you start to see the evils of the world.
You start wishing you can go back to being, that little boy or girl.
 
If all lives mattered, would we see the same publicity.
If the November Paris attacks, happened to any other ethnicity?
I mean China and Taiwan just had the worst flooding in a decade.
But to the media and the public that only got downplayed.
The attack in Kenya last year left over 140 slayed.
Waiting for Facebook to let me update my photo, I guess that update didn’t get conveyed.
 
If all lives mattered, would you still feel the same way?
If Pulse nightclub was Latino and not gay?
Do not misunderstand, life lost IS a tragedy
 
But if All lives mattered it wouldn’t matter the catastrophe.
As I watch my brothers die I would assume you had empathy.
But it took cops being slain for you to show a little sympathy.
Do I believe every cop is bad? That statement would be absurd.
But the system is corrupt and cries will no longer go unheard.
We have to stop killing each other, and it couldn’t be more true.
But it doesn’t give the right for the boys in BLUE to do it too.
 
If All Lives Mattered then we would all be brothers.
But all I see on Facebook, is you showing your true colors.
We’re not mad at what’s going on, it’s been going on for years.
We’re just mad at how it’s happening with the evidence being so clear.
With technology so advanced we see the whole story now.
And if we see he didn’t pose a threat then why was he shot down?
Now, if you you think wild and unruly is a way to behave.
Then you deserve to be man handled to the ground and thrown in a cage.
And if you think you big and bad and want to disobey authority.
Don’t assume you got your ass whooped just because you’re a minority.
But see I’ve always been compliant so I’ve never had a situation.
I’m respectful, I take my ticket and there’s no altercation.
Word to Khaled “I Got The Keys” cuz they don’t wanna see us winning.
But those crowns fit us well, let’s take it back to the beginning.
 
If All Lives Matter and I harm a cop I don’t get to breathe.
But if all lives matter and he kills me, he goes on leave
 
If All Lives Mattered you’d be outraged way before Dallas.
Instead of ignoring the blatant and continuous malice.
They marched alone to be able to sit anywhere on that bus.
But I’m not surprised that All Lives Matter and you not out here marching with us?
All Lives Matter right? But I find it odd when things don’t make you mad.
But a firestorm incites when someone doesn’t stand up for the flag.
A convicted rapist gets 3 months, 12 year old Tamir Rice gets shot.
And you’re burning Kaepernick jersey and debating whether you think Rice deserved or not.
In this land of the free are you standing with me?
If I decide to sit down will you start abandoning me?
They gave a Black man the ship but never handed the keys.
So we’ve been at bay since 09 and now we’re about to be stranded at sea.
I go to sleep and I dream of a nation with peace.
Then I wake to another to another case of someone misusing their piece.
Dont bring up all the killings in Chicago and ask where the outrage is in that.
To divert the focus from Walter Scott being shot in the back.
Black on black blue on black, it ALL has to end.
But don’t justify blue on black when a black person kills his friend.
While Daniel Pantaleo  walks free, George Zimmerman is on the beach. Dequaun doing 25 to life seems like the difference to me.
When I saw the execution of Terrance Crutcher with his hands up.
I said y’all really think I’m about to stand up for this damn stuff.
And when saw Keith Scott shot dead while walking backwards.
I said man that looks just like…target practice.
Then they bring up his record and say he had a rap sheet.
But if we killing people for that, would half of you lay on your back please.

I see a trend, the same people that endorsed Trump, at Kaepernick they pissed.
The same ones who have a hate in their heart for Obama gonna hate me for this
 
If All Lives Mattered would hunting season cease?
Will you wave your white flags and give ALL animals peace?
Will you change your eating habits and stop eating meats?
Go vegan and only eat fruits, vegetables and the green leafs?
But wait, plants are some sort of life form too right?
So you wouldn’t eat almost anything because All Lives Matter too right?
I’m assuming, it’s consuming, what we’re pursuing for your amusement.
Certain things don’t make people mad because they don’t love enough humans.
Maybe you have it misconstrued because it’s not a shot at you.
We’re not saying Black Lives Matter more, we’re saying black lives matter TOO.
