The Election of Donald Trump as POTUS coupled with Conservative Republican Control of Federal, State, and Local Government, has posed an extremely important question to ALL Americans and ultimately the world. WHO WILL DEFINE AND CONTROL REALITY?
It started when then presidential candidate (now President Elect) Donald Trump runs on a campaign of “Make America Great Again”. The “REALITY” of America not being a great country to live in is totally different than his campaign slogan.
This is evident of the need to build a “wall” and revise immigration policy to keep out people who have entered America seeking a better standard of living. If America is not “Great” why do people want to come here to live, work, and raise families?

Examples: Many want to believe that “The Economy” is worse under Obama, America’s First Black President. Many want to believe our country is worse off because he is Black. The reality is that Under America’s First Black President, the world averted what could have been a worldwide economic depression. More new jobs were created under Obama (Jury still out on Black America) over 11 Million, contrasting that to George Bush, who created only 1.2 Million new jobs.
As a matter of fact, all economic indicators point to Obama giving Trump a better economy than he inherited from Bush. There is a perception the Republicans are better for the American Economy. However, when is comes to jobs, deficits, and Stock Market performance the objective numbers will favor Democrats.
Reality and the Affordable Care Act (Obama Care). Yes!, I have a problem with it, being a low income retired person. But, for a brief period of time I was covered. And, I like President Obama himself knows significant improvements are needed. But, I also know one of the reasons why Obama care has not reached its potential. OBSTRUCTIONISM! By the Republican congress which pledged allegiance to preserving the power of the elite Oligarchy, opposing Obama’s every move, rather than pledging to serve the American people.
The healthcare cooperatives which would have created competition in the healthcare marketplace was purposely underfunded by Ryan, and McConnel’s Congress. The CMS (Center for Medical/Medicaid Services) who were charged with funding those Cooperatives only funded some cooperatives like the Kentucky COOP at 12% of the funding they need to be viable.
Sounds like sabotage to me. I watched a Kentucky Trump supporter interviewed by CNN about how his life was saved and how the family dodged bankruptcy and homelessness due to Obama care. They seemed to be in more pain having to admit that they benefitted from Obama care, than from the cancer that was tearing their family apart. Blackfolks & Democrats to the rescue AGAIN! …
The irony is that many of these beneficiaries voted for Trump and Republicans anyway. (At least the Electoral College). They truly wanted to believe that Obama; the Democrats; and People of Color are the source of their problems, being to cowardice and lazy to go after and organize against their REAL enemy, the greed of Corporate America and Wall Street/Banking Interests. Foreign policy is another area, where perceptions of reality collide with objective reality. If anyone watched the televised hearing (1/5/16) by the Senate Armed Services Committee, Convened by (R) Senator McCain, you would have learned a lot about the QUALITY of American intelligence. It was always about the quality of intelligence as indicated by the following statement, “WE MUST BE FASTER AND MORE AGILE IN OUR RESPONSES” – Adm. Micheal Rogers , US Cyber Command .
The Trump warped view of reality is that it was a major challenge to election results, a “witch hunt” against his buddies (The Russians) — preferring to concentrate on a perceived challenge to his electoral college win of the presidency. THE REAL ISSUE was about accountability, motives, and objectives of proven Russian interference in the 2016 presidential elections and, other capabilities to wreck havoc.
When you couple this with the public announcement by Trump that he would ignore and devalue American intelligence data, you realize you have a dangerous person running the country. And, if he is not dangerous, then he is predisposed to commit treason in the future. I wouldn’t put it pass Trump and some of his inner circle to mistake an ICBM for a Good year Blimp if one was heading for us, because he preferred to ignore good, solid intelligence.
It comes down to this:
A person was elected who is supposed to be a professional public servant. But, instead declared himself a “god” or “king” of the United States of America. These people like to believe they have the power to DEFINE REALITY. Some people were historically allowed to have this power (Adolf Hitler, Nero, Caligula) only to realize after millions of people slaughtered, that they made a mistake.
WHO WILL DEFINE TRUTH AND REALITY? Will it be YOU? Or will you give up these sacred rights by default?
Will future generations be subjected to the most insidious form of slavery ever devised? (next to Chattel Slavery) — the enslavement of the mind and the destruction of the ability to ascertain REALITY AND TRUTH?
